Lisette Lavergne Esq. is a seasoned attorney and a fervent advocate of social justice. Fueled by her bicultural roots, this native New Yorker and Latina of Dominican descent is passionate about human rights, women’s rights, business, and the entertainment industry. Ms. Lavergne is CEO, Founder and Head of the Business Immigration Law Practice Group at Lisette Lavergne Law, PC. She leads a smart multilingual team that provides strategic and culturally sensitive solutions to national and international clients in connection with temporary visas, U.S. permanent residency, and all types of immigration matters. Ms. Lavergne’s clients include investors, models, designers, composers, scientists, students, entertainers, athletes, filmmakers, music producers, national and international businesses as well as families, asylum seekers, and members of the global community seeking immigration services. She began her legal career as an Associate at McCarter & English, one of the oldest and largest law firms in the United States.

In 2016, Ms. Lavergne was appointed Point Person for the Commission on Racial and Ethnic Diversity. In 2015, she was re-appointed Co-Chair of Women’s Interest Network and Vice Chair of the Immigration and Naturalization Committee by the ABA-SIL. From 2009 until 2012, she was one of the principal creators and voices of her law firm’s Immigration-based radio show entitled “Hablemos De Inmigracion” (“Immigration Talk”). “Hablemos De Inmigracion” addressed immigration issues on Saturday mornings on one of the most well-regarded New York-based Spanish language radio stations, WPAT-FM, AMOR 93.1.
